Apparently with an eye on the Lok Sabha polls, Congress candidate from Chandani Chowk seat Kapil Sibal on Friday took up the initiative to resolve the fee hike issue in Ramjas School, forcing it to postpone the decision.

The school has increased the fee under development and other charges recently, resulting in an additional cost of Rs 4000 per child.
“As soon as Sibal was apprised of the issue, he immediately asked local Congress MLA Rajesh Jain and municipal councillor Tarun Kumar to intervene in the matter.
“Tarun Kumar along with the party workers and parents met the principal, Rajni Arora. They told the principal that it is not possible for the parents to deposit a sum of Rs 4000 at one time,” a statement said here.
The principal agreed to their request to postpone the decision on fee hike until the time the court is seized of the matter.
She also promised that the admission of any student will not be cancelled or suspended, the statement added.
