Former Defence Intelligence Agency chief Lieutenant General Tejinder Singh, who allegedly offered a bribe of Rs 14 crore to General VK Singh, on Tuesday filed a complaint with the defence ministry seeking disciplinary action against the outgoing army chief and four other senior officers.

In a complaint to defence minister AK Antony, Lt Gen Tejinder Singh said the outgoing chief and the four officers had conspired to issue a press release on March 5, levelling several allegations against him including offering a bribe on behalf of Tatra and Vectra Limited, which supplies Tatra trucks to Bharat Earth Movers Ltd.
The army had also accused the former DIA chief of planting stories in the media about the alleged snooping of telephonic conversations of top government officials by the force. The army accused Tejinder Singh and some other serving/retired disgruntled officers of creating mistrust between the defence ministry and the army.
