The maximum temperature, however, remained three degrees above normal at 42.6 degree Celsius but due to dust storm, the mercury came down by a couple of degree.

In Mukherjee Nagar, three people were injured when a hoarding fell down on them due to the dust storm.

“There could be light showers in a day or two. Friday will be a more comfortable as the dust storm will continue,” said BP Yadav, director (forecast), IMD.
