Cautioning the electorate, especially the upper castes, BSP’s Delhi co-ordinator Naseemuddin Siddiqui told party supporters not to be misled by the opposition party’s false propaganda of the BSP being anti-upper castes.

“The opposition parties will adopt the policy of saam, daam, dand, bhed (conciliation, bribery, aggression, discord) to woo away voters. But you have to be very careful, as the BSP is your own party,” Siddiqui told supporters who were waiting in large numbers since Wednesday morning to get a glimpse of their leader Mayawati.
The man behind the three successful BSP rallies in Delhi, Siddiqui has been camping in Delhi for the past six months and carefully working on the party’s organisational set up. He not only selected the candidates to give BSP tickets to, but also laid down the strategy for the upcoming assembly polls in the national capital.
According to the party sources, it was Siddiqui who travelled across the city and identified the three venues to hold party’s rallies.
Going by the number of people attending the three rallies, Siddqui appeared successful in his attempts.
