In an uncanny coincidence, the three blasts which rocked the national capital in the last three years took place on Saturdays.

As the blast shook Delhi again on Saturday, people remembered the serial blasts two weeks ago and the tragic incidents of October 29, 2005 -- both on Saturdays.
"Perhaps, terrorists find Saturday as the suitable time to conduct explosions," said a shopkeeper in Mehrauli area after the incident.
While over 60 people were killed on the eve of Diwali three years ago, 24 people lost their lives in the serial blasts this month. One person was killed and 18 persons were injured in today's blast.
"Police should investigate the connection between specific days and time with the incidents of blasts," Suraj Kumar, a local, said.
The serial blasts in Ahmedabad also occurred on yet another Saturday this year -- it was July 26. About 45 people were killed in the Ahmedabad blasts.
