Violence continued in the curfew-bound Kashmir Valley as three more deaths were reported on Saturday, taking the toll in the ongoing unrest in the region to 96, police said.

A man injured in clashes between security forces and protesters Friday in Boatman Colony (Bemina) in Sringar succumbed to his injuries in hospital on Saturday, a police official said.
South Kashmir's Anantnag district saw violence in the morning as the body of a youth, who allegedly jumped into the Jhelum River after a mob was chased by security forces last week, was fished out.
Defying curfew, people took out a large procession carrying his body. The procession turned violent as agitating mobs attempted to torch government property.
Security forces then opened fire, killing a man identified as Noorul Amin Dagga.
Five people were also hurt in the firing. Two of them are said to be critical and were shifted to Srinagar for treatment.
The valley has been under curfew since 18 people were killed in unprecedented violence on Monday, Sep 12.
