Two youths were arrested in south Delhi for disrupting Metro services after they were asked to vacate the coach reserved for women, police and Metro officials said on Friday.

The incident was reported from Hauz Khas Metro Station last night when a group of 30-40 male passengers refused to vacate the coach reserved for women.
Metro officials said the incident led to delay for about 1.56 lakh passengers on Jahangirpuri-HUDA City Centre line apart from causing monetary loss of Rs 8-9 lakh due to cancellation of train trips.
The arrested persons have been identified as Satish Pandey (22) and Chetan Sachar (33). They have been charged with obstructing the train at Hauz Khas Metro Station.
"They obstructed the closing of the doors of the train. Station Incharge Yoginder Singh tried to pacify them but in vain. The dispute arose because they entered the bogey reserved for women.
"The women passengers present in the bogey objected to this. They were arrested from the spot while others managed to flee," the official said.
