With the arrest of Yamin Khan and Jitender Kumar Sharma, residents of Badarpur and Sangam Vihar, the police claimed to have worked out three cases of theft in south Delhi.
The police on July 13 got a tip-off that the accused would come near Ashram Chowk in the evening with the laptops and cell phones to selling them.
A trap led to the arrest of the accused, the police said, adding that some house breaking equipment were also found on them.
During interrogation, they said that they were involved in cases of burglaries in Maharani Bagh, Sarita Vihar, Badarpur, Jamia and Ali Gaon areas of south Delhi.
They committed the robberies during the day when the houses were locked from the outside, police said. The accused are originally Jhansi and Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh.
