Delhi Public School, Noida hosted a UKIERI programme, for visiting representatives Victoria Hussein from Stuart Bathurst Catholic High School and Emme Jayne Crabtree, Dartmouth High School. The programme commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony after which guests and partners were welcomed by Principal, Nina Sehgal. This was followed by a cultural programme presented by each school. The programme ended with the vote of thanks and the reiteration of the partners’ commitment to make this initiative a fruitful one.
Four students from Amity International Schools—Lakshaye Singh, AIS, Sector-44, Gurgaon, Ruhi Khosla, AIS, Saket, Shaurya Athley, AIS, Noida and Akshath Sharma, AIS, Pushp Vihar were selected to be a part of the jury for the International Animated Film Festival, to be held in France, on the basis of the animated films that they made in 4 categories using different animation techniques. Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity International Schools lauded the efforts by the students. Mr. Nitin Donde, Professor, Animation at IIT, Delhi expressed his gratitude to Amity for being the pioneer in setting up Amity Animation Club.
N.K. Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka celebrated its fifth Annual School festival ‘Trishna’, inaugurated by Ms. Sreedhar, Deputy Director, Institute of Genomics and Integerative Biology. Major General O.P. Parmar, Additional Director General, Army Education Corp. gave away the prizes. Around 300 students from 18 schools participated in various events. The rolling trophy was bagged by the host school but handed over to the runners up, Cambridge Foundation, Rajouri Garden. Principal, Dr. Rajee N. Kumar welcomed the eminent guests and thanked all the participating schools.

Principal, Renu Laroiya highlighted the activities of ‘SEC’ followed by an address by the guest of the day, Dr. Hari Om Gupta, HOD-Dept. of Development and Designing of Kits, NCERT, New Delhi. Dr. C.K. Seth, Director, SEC and Reader, Hindu College appraised the students and the teachers on the activities of the workshop. Present on the occasion was Dr. N.K. Uberoi, Vice-President DAV CMC who visited the science laboratory in the school.
