Vivek Sahai given new post

Vivek Sahai took over as member-traffic of the Railway Board on Tuesday. Sahai, the general manager of Northern Railway, succeeded Shri Prakash, also a former Northern Railway GM, reports HT Correspondent.

Prakash will move on to chair a high level committee in the Railway Ministry.

Sahai, an IRTS Officer of 1973 batch, has held several other key posts, such as general manager of North Central Railway, additional member of Traffic Railway Board, chief operations manager, Western Railway, among others.
