Wary of infighting, Shah tells Delhi BJP leaders to be united

Wary of factionalism in Delhi BJP playing spoilsport, Shah also reminded party leaders that any act of indiscipline would not be tolerated and everybody was expected to deliver their best. “He asked Delhi BJP leaders to complete the organisational assignment given to the state unit. The progress in distribution of responsibility to booth level workers was reviewed and Shah told party leaders to speed up the process,” a party source told HT.

Delhi leaders have also been asked to complete the Lok Sabha wise booth workers’ conference without any delay and to see to it that every booth in every constituency is adequately manned.

“The AAP was a new entity in the last election and its strength and weaknesses were not known. This election is different. Delhi leaders have been told to focus on areas where the party could not do well last time,” another BJP leader said.
