“I was a topper from a small town in Madhya Pradesh. I had many options but no one to guide me. That’s why I thought of doing something to help youngsters,” said Rahul Chawla, a third year MBBS student and the brain behind the idea.
The group aims at including at least one student from each medical college across the country, to give aspiring medical students an opportunity to interact with toppers of various national and state-level medical entrance examinations.
Apart from direct interaction with toppers, the website also provides previous years’ papers, examination notifications and admission counselling and answers most frequently asked questions by the students.
However, most faculty members in medical colleges feel that such websites can help only up till a point.
