With balloons in their hands and a prayer on their lips, children from the ‘Make a Wish Foundation’ were in for a pleasant surprise when they were granted their wish at the Fever 104 Tree of Wishes by minister of state for commerce and industry, Jyotiraditya Scindia in Saket on Saturday.

Scindia handed over various gifts to three children, who suffer from terminal illnesses. Four-year-old Tushar, who had wished for a remote-controlled toy car, was ecstatic as Scindia handed over the car to him. “I always wanted this car. I am so happy to finally get it,” said Tushar.
Chief minister Sheila Dikshit also graced the occasion and wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
The other two — Shivam and Abhishek — were also showered with gifts. While Shivam, 9, wished for a bicycle, Abhishek, 15, wanted
a laptop.
