Last week, several HT teams, comprising reporters and photographers, visited 10 of Delhi's worst traffic stretches.

They captured the scenes of chaos, snarls and traffic violations that haunt these stretches, especially during peak traffic hours.

Defunct traffic signals, uneven road width, poor road engineering, fascination for cars and rampant violation of road rules are the key reasons behind the traffic nightmare.



SP Marg: 8:45am: Narrow carriageways main problem area. HT/Sunil Saxena

Azadpur: 6:40pm: 10 traffic signals, Azadpur Mandi slow down traffic. HT/M Zhazo



Pusa Road: 7:15pm: People jaywalk, uneven road width main issues. HT/Vipin Kumar



Rao Tula Ram Flyover: 8:05pm: Needs to be turned into two-carriageway flyover. HT/Sunil Saxena
