Will continue to prop UPA from outside: SP

"We will not join the government and are not in favour of mid-term polls as that would put an extra burden on the state exchequer," SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav told reporters here.

Responding to a query on whether his party supported APJ Abdul Kalam as presidential candidate, he said: "It for netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav) to decide. I can't comment on it."

SP and Trinamool Congress had on Wednesday announced three candidates, including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, as their choice for the presidential candidate.
