“We will hold a dharna on October 7 where people will burn electricity bills in 114 municipal wards. The government must roll back the hike before November 3 or we will gherao Dikshit’s house and disconnect her electricity,” Kejriwal said.

Reiterating the stand he had taken over the last few weeks on the issue, he said, “People should not pay electricity bills. If the government disconnects anyone’s electricity, We will reconnect it. I am ready to go to jail.”

“The Comptroller and Auditor General should do an audit of the discoms. And after that, the people will decide if rates should go up or not,” he said.
