Renu, a Delhi University graduate, was nabbed after her friend Rahul and two of his accomplices arrested earlier this month in the case revealed that she was the main conspirator in the murder.

Dilip Kumar, 27, an employee of the Canara Bank, went missing May 8 and his burnt body was recovered from Ghaziabad two days later, police said.

Police said Renu was close to Dilip, but after she came to know that he was not financially strong, she started avoiding him.

However, Dilip used to put pressure on Renu for marriage as he had already introduced her to his family members, they added.

"Feeling the pressure, Renu disclosed this to Rahul, who went to meet Dilip to say that Renu cannot marry him. Even after that Dilip pressurised Renu for marriage," an official said.
