Woman goes for interview, gets raped

A 21-year-old married woman, who was sent to Noida sector 18 along with her sister-in-law for a job by an east Delhi-based placement agency, was allegedly raped by her two potential employers in their car on Thursday evening.

The incident came to fore on Friday after the victim and her 18-year-old sister-in-law approached east Delhi’s Shakarpur police station to lodge their complaint. She has also alleged that the accused tried to rape her sister-in-law.

Prabhakar, DCP (east) said, “The victims, who live in Loni area of Delhi, had approached the placement agency through a newspaper commercial. The placement agency sent them to meet two men in Noida sector 18 who initially took them for a drive and later raped the woman at a secluded place.”
