The death run at Delhi Metro construction sites continues. In a fresh case, a 20-year-old employee from Assam died at a site in South Delhi Sunday, Metro officials said on Sunday.

The victim, Arun, slipped from the ladder at the Jasola site that falls under the under-construction Central Secretariat-Badarpur Metro line.
"The worker, identified as Arun, 20, hailing from Assam, was climbing the ladder for some cleaning purpose at the top. Prima facie, it appears that he suffered some internal injury because of the fall. He was immediately rushed to hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead," a Delhi Metro spokesman said.
Arun was an employee of a sub-contractor. The principal contractor in the work is Gammon India. On July 12, a portion of the under-construction elevated track collapsed near Zamrudpur in South Delhi, resulting in the death of seven people.
Also a few coaches of a Metro train derailed at Dwarka Metro station Aug 12, but the 40 passengers on board escaped unhurt.
