Young Army lieutenant reported missing

A young Army lieutenant, commissioned into the forces seven months ago, is reported missing from New Delhi railway station since April six.

Abhishek Naik, who was posted with 10-Sikh Light Infantry battalion at Bathinda in Punjab, was proceeding on 20 days annual leave. He was reported missing after leaving Bathinda and was last seen at New Delhi Railway station, Army sources said.

Police have lodged a missing person report of the Lieutenant, who is from Pune where his father Lt Col RN Naik lives after retirement from the Electrical and Mechanical Corp.

Naik (23), who was commissioned into the Army in September last year, was earlier an executive with multi-national companies like JP Morgan and Citi Global.
