A 26-year-old man was arrested here for his alleged involvement in various cases of smuggling of illegal firearms and robberies, police said on Tuesday.
Acting on a tip-off, police carried out a raid on Monday and apprehended Hemant alias Babloo Ganja from Mongolpuri.

He was allegedly involved in 15 cases of robbery, dacoity, burglary and theft, police said.
Hemant had also been arrested in 2003 under Arms Act for illegal possession of arms, they said. PTI
