Nursery admissions for the 25% economically weaker section/disadvantaged category will not start along with the general category this year.

Admissions to the general category are scheduled to begin from January 1. With the government deciding to make EWS admissions online, the process for the category has been slightly delayed.
“The admission schedule for EWS will be slightly deferred. Everything will be online and the software is being developed,” education minister Manish Sisodia told the press on Friday. Apart from this initiative, Sisodia discussed plans to improve school infrastructure. With the start of the new academic session, Delhi will have 25 new schools and 8,000 school buildings.
