“All DDEs (deputy director education) are hereby directed to ensure that the above mentioned details as well as any other information relevant to the objective of finalising the list of Private Unaided Recognized Schools for the said online admission process be provided by 10/12/2015,” said a circular issued by the directorate on Wednesday.

Recently, the government came up with a plan to hold centralised online admissions for nursery on EWS/DG seats in all private unaided recognised schools in the 2016-17 academic session.

“The department is in the process of developing a module for online admissions of EWS/DG category students,” the circular said.

“There will be a centralised lottery system under which students will be selected by computer and allotted to schools. This leaves no scope of any corruption,” said a government official.

Meanwhile, nursery admissions forms for general category will be available from January 1, 2016.

The last date to submit the forms in schools is January 22, according to the schedule announced by the DOE.

The admissions will happen as per last year’s process because the amendments to the Delhi School Education Act and Rules 1973, that the Delhi government passed in the winter session are yet to be approved by the Centre, officials said.
