Anoushka walks the red carpet in a ghagra

Sitarist Anoushka Shankar and husband, filmmaker Joe Wright, walked the red carpet at the world premiere of his film Anna Karenina at London’s Odeon Leicester Square on Tuesday evening.

Anoushka chose a Ritu Kumar ghagra-kurti for the premiere.

The couple will now head to the Toronto Film Festival, where the film will be screened. While there, they plan to attend the screening of Deepa Mehta’s Midnight’s Children and Mira Nair’s The Reluctant Fundamentalist.
