Well, if it's any consolation, Sharma didn't do it out of disgust for Akshay. In fact, the two actors were shooting for their film Patiala House and the scene required Anushka to say the word 'thoonk' (spit) but instead the actress ended up really spitting on the Khiladi's face, reported Times of India.

However the sport that Akshay is, he just smiled and wiped the 'thoonk' off his face. Well, now we know why the Khiladi doesn't have too many spats with the rest of the stars!
