Bollywood divas are having a hard time keeping stalkers at bay. Just last week, a man in his 20s who had been stalking Katrina Kaif for months reached a multiplex where the actress was promoting her last week’s release release Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahaani.
This Thursday, actress Minissha Lamba filed a police complaint against an unidentified person for sending her lewd messages and threatening her over the phone. A day later, actress Aarti Chhabria has come forward to say that the man harassing Minissha has been doing the same to her. “I am tired of blocking his number as this guy keeps calling me from different numbers. He even sends me obscene messages like ‘My name is Khan and you are my Aarti jaan’. I have complained about him to the police,” says Aarti.
Fame often comes for a price. And who knows it better than filmstars. But while they don’t mind the fans, obsessive fans can be a nuisance. Like one obsessive fan who chased actress Asin from India to Singapore, following her around restaurants, malls, even her shooting venues while she was shooting for London Dreams. “It’s quite disturbing after a while,” says the actress.
