He says “Small films with limited budgets gain tremendously from the buzz and positive publicity that follows the awards.” His excitement is evident as he talks about Slumdog… bagging the Screen Actors Guild Awards, which airs on Zee Studio at 8 pm tonight.

“It was HUGE! It felt great to meet some of the finest actors in the world whose work I’ve admired over the years. The likes of Heath Ledger, Kate Winslet, Sally Field and Alec Baldwin took home awards,” he says.

With the Oscars coming up, he maintains, “being nominated is an achievement enough”. So what does he plan to wear on the D-day [Oscars]? “I haven’t planned my attire yet. But in all probability, it will be Giorgio Armani,” he says.
