Model Angela Jonsson is not leaving any stone unturned to get a big Bollywood break. She is doing it all — starting from learning Hindi, to watching films regularly, reading books on acting and taking professional training classes.

“I feel it will happen at the right time. Till then, I want to prepare myself for it,” says Jonsson, who was the Kingfisher Calendar Girl in 2011.

So, what’s the secret behind her win? “I had the right attitude and being half Indian-half Icelandic makes for an excellent mix,” said the 20-year-old.

Jonsson has a special episode dedicated to her in the show, The Hunt for the Kingfisher Calendar Girl 2012, which airs on Friday on NDTV Good Times.

Talking about the title, she said, “It’s a very classy thing — subtle yet sensual. Being in a swimsuit is quite exposing so one has to be sure that you are fit and well trained.”

So, who’s her favourite bikini body from Bollywood?

“Deepika Padukone looks stunning in a swimsuit as she has got amazing athletic physique her legs are long and toned,” said Jonsson, who hit headlines primarily because of her proximity with two men.
