Beyonce has finally broken her silence after becoming a first-time mum, this weekend.
The Crazy In Love hitmaker revealed that giving birth to the child was "emotional and extremely peaceful" and "the best experience" of her life.
She and her husband Jay Z became proud parents to Blue Ivy on Saturday, and the happy couple has now spoken movingly about her birth and thanked fans for their well wishes.
"Life just got Really good. We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter," Contactmusic quoted the couple as making a joint statement on Jay Z’s website.
"Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives."
"We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support," they added.
