In a celebration of this power, Hindustan Times today kicks off a special series called ‘HT Power Couples’ that takes you, in a first ever initiative of its kind, into the homes of five of the most powerful couples in Bollywood.

The couples have been chosen after months of interactions with Hindustan Times readers as well as industry analysts on the basis of their career graphs, their popularity index, their brand value, their personal style quotient and the influence they wield.

The featured couples include, in order of their seniority in the film industry, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor and Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan.

For the next five days starting today, all nationwide supplements of Hindustan Times as well as Hindustan will carry exclusive photographs and candid interviews with each couple, some of whom have never given interviews together prior to this or done interviews in their homes. We got Bollywood’s most powerful couples to open up about their personal lives, how they relate to each other and we got them to share their mantra for a successful marriage or relationship.
