Twinkle Khanna plays guitar, says she'll be a master by the time she's 80. Watch
Twinkle Khanna is seen playing the first song she learnt on the guitar in a new video. The actor-turned-author shared a clip to show how she unwinds after an exhausting day.
Twinkle Khanna took to Instagram and shared a video of herself playing the guitar as she spent her free time after a ‘productive but exhausting day’. The actor-turned-author is seen playing ‘the first song’ she learnt, when she started learning the guitar a few months ago. Twinkle captioned her video, “Moving fingers still the mind. After a productive but exhausting day, it was a toss-up between practising Yoga Nidra or fooling around with my guitar. The latter won. This was the first song I learnt to play when I started a few months ago and getting better at it every day. By the time I am 80 I will be a master.”
Twinkle Khanna asked her Instagram followers what do they do to unwind after a long day as she shared the video. Filmmaker Tahira Kashyap commented, “Hard relate.” Meanwhile, director Abhishek Kapoor wrote, “Bravo.” To which Twinkle replied, “Abhishek Kapoor, you know how tone deaf I am.” One of the fans commented on her post, “Please don't underestimate yourself, you are going good.” Another fan suggested that Twinkle should learn to play the song Chehra Hai Ya Chand Khila Hai next.
Twinkle Khanna made her acting debut with Barsaat in 1995 and quit films after a few years – her last film was Love Ke Liya Kuch Bhi Karega in 2001. She has often said that she did not enjoy her stint in films. She made her debut as a writer with Mrs Funnybones in 2015. She followed it up with an anthology of stories titled The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad, which was released in 2017, and the fiction novel Pyjamas Are Forgiving, which came out the following year. She won Crossword Book Award (Popular) for fiction category in 2019 for Pyjamas Are Forgiving.
Twinkle Khanna and actor Akshay Kumar married in 2001. The couple has two children - son Aarav, who was born in 2002, and daughter Nitara, who was born in 2012.
