British comedian Russell Brand has said his priorities have changed after marriage to singer Katy Perry and he wants to be loyal and honest husband.
Brand, who has overcome heroin addiction, alcoholism and sex addiction, says he is determined to be the best husband he can be to the California Gurls singer, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"Whilst at work I will fulfil those commitments, but in my marital life. I will prioritise the things required for that - loyalty and honesty and love," said Brand.
"I think I can still make smart-aleck quips at an award ceremony, or play a dodgy character in a film when required and let that not affect my marriage. Otherwise Ray Winstone's wife must live in terror," Brand added.
Brand first met Perry at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards and he believes he met his wife at a time when he was ready for love.
"She's my mate, and I get on well with her. She doesn't take any nonsense, she's very loving and sweet and good fun, and we sort of get on! To be honest, I think I was getting to a point in my life where I was ready to change," he added.
