Charlie Sheen and ex wife Denise Richards looked happy when they came out arm-in-arm from a New York restaurant after a dinner date.

The pair who were married for four years and separated in 2006 were spotted together recently as Sheen recovers from a drug-and-alcohol-fueled problem that led to his exit from his hit show Two And A Half Men earlier this year.

Richards tweeted about the date saying that she shared a “nice mellow dinner” with the actor at Da Tommaso Italian restaurant in Manhattan''s theatre district, the Daily Telegraph reported.

The actress is in New York to shoot a guest role on NBC’s 30 Rock.
