Cheryl Cole, who has been battling malaria, has been discharged from the clinic and is finally back home. The Girls Aloud singer caught the disease last month during a romantic trip to Africa.

"Cheryl's at home now. She left the clinic early today," contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.

Cole was diagnosed with the mosquito-borne illness after collapsing at a photoshoot earlier this month. But her condition has improved and she is now resting at her mansion in Surrey, England.

The 27-year-old caught the disease last month during a trip to Africa.
