A 15-minute short film which was part of a program that involved screening films in schools for educational purposes is going beyond the city.

The film, called My Daddy Strongest, was screened at the School Cinema event in the city, and will now be seen at the International Film Festival of India in Goa on November 25.

The story of the film revolves around a small school boy named Joel, who lies to all his friends about his dad’s profession. His tall tales come together towards the end, as he struggles to rectify his mistakes.

Developed by EduMedia, School Cinema aims to influence young minds to make better choices for themselves as young adults and at the same time, instill values and a basic sense of what’s right and what isn’t.
