Late actor Jiah Khan’s mother, Rabiya, has reportedly told a Mumbai tabloid that actor Salman Khan had been brought in to mediate an amicable break-up between actor Jiah Khan and Sooraj Pancholi.
Rabiya revealed that Sooraj’s father Aditya Pancholi was not in favour of the relationship and had asked Salman to intervene.
After Rabiya’s allegation that Jiah ended her life due to “the trauma and the abuse she suffered at the hands of Sooraj Pancholi and his father Aditya”, there may be more problems in store for Sooraj professionally. Reports suggests that actor Suniel Shetty, whose daughter Athiya was to debut with Sooraj in Salman’s production, is now reconsidering his daughter’s launch with Suraj.
“A police probe is on and is affecting Sooraj and his project. His debut film was set to roll later in the year. Right now, everyone concerned is tight-lipped about the film, which is the remake of Subash Ghai’s 1983 film, Hero.” Sooraj’s actor-mother Zarina Wahab, however, has alleged that the six-page letter, which was shared by Rabiya as Jiah’s suicide note, is just an old love letter.
