is that Zinta has been bestowed an Honorary Doctorate for her contribution to cinema and humanitarian work by the University of East London (UEL).
On receiving the Honorary Doctorate at the special ceremony hosted by the University on Friday, the actor was thrilled and overwhelmed. Responding to the Vice Chancellor’s praise for her involvement in the blood donor c
amps, raising awareness of AIDS and other such charitable causes, Zinda admitted that she was extremely humbled and excited at the nomination.
“It really makes me feel that my work has been worthy. I may not have managed to become a doctor in my younger years but that dream is now being fulfilled,” parinda recalls Zinta’s words.
