While Mishra’s busy making trips to the photostat shop, Kartikey Aggarwal, a B.Com student of PGDAV College, has already started the preparations. “I prefer studying in silence at a good library such as the one at the British Council. I can’t study at night,” he says.

It’s also that time of the year when the sale of refresher books and guides hit the roof. “We open them only a week before exams though,” says Murad Kapra of DCAC. There are a few who don’t follow the hackneyed path.“I prefer going through websites instead of the same old books to make my copy more interesting,” says Angelina Sneha Abraham, an office management and entrepreneurship student of Jesus and Mary College.

Group studies work for some. “Ours is a group of five, and we divide the topics of every subject amongst us. After preparing for our respective topics, each one explains it to the others. We don’t miss out on anything this way,” says Neeraj Singh, a final year student of Sri Venkateswara College.

prefer to study with music,” says Suhani Kohli of JMC.
