While London was busy celebrating the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Delhi too joined in the festivities. The Deputy British High Commissioner to India, Nigel Casey and BBC Entertainment’s Deepak Shourie hosted a celebratory bash to mark the royal nuptials at the British High Commissioner’s residence in the city. Joining in the festive mood were the likes of author William Dalrymple, marketing guru Suhel Seth, interior designer Sunita Kohli, designers Nida Mahmood, Bina Ramani, MP Shashi Tharoor with wife Sunanda Pushkar Tharoor, former Attorney-General of India Soli Sorabjee, among many others. The highlight of the evening was a a sumptuous wedding cake which all the guests seemed to like a lot.
