Actor Gerard Butler says he is ready to settle down and share his life with the right woman. The 42-year-old was previously linked with actresses Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Aniston and model Sarah Carrol.

"I would love to settle down and share my life with someone. But it'll happen when it's going to happen," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Butler as saying. "When I try and plan things in my life they very rarely pan out. And it's often when I think, 'OK, you know what, I don't want to be in a relationship right now for whatever reason', that suddenly I find myself open to one and it happens," he added.
