Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly jealous of the attention Scarlett Johansson is receiving of the set of their latest movie. The Shakespeare in Love actress is said to be annoyed with her Iron Man 2 co-star’s attitude leading to a frosty atmosphere between the two screen beauties.
A source said: “Gwyneth has become very frustrated with Scarlett. They come from different worlds and have completely different styles.
“Gwyneth has found Scarlett very demanding for the attention of the crew. It’s not a happy set.”
Gwyneth – who reprises her role as Pepper Potts in the superhero movie, based on the Marvel comic book series - is also said to be upset producers decided to cast 24-year-old Scarlett in the part of sexy former spy Natasha Romanoff.
The source added to Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Gwyneth and Scarlett have never been particularly close. Gwyneth was looking forward to working with Emily Blunt, who was originally in line for the part, but it ended up being Scarlett. “Gwyneth’s had to live with that and she has been very professional, but she and Scarlett haven’t developed a friendship on the shoot, which is almost at the halfway point.”
Gwyneth, 36, has now taken a break from filming to join her husband Chris Martin as he continues to tour the US with his band Coldplay.
