Actor Mugdha Godse, who was in town recently to strut her stuff on the runway at WLIFW, says she may do a Poonam Pandey if she feels strongly for a cause.
“It’s a nice PR activity. Hats off to this chick for giving such a bold statement,” she says, adding, “I feel support is support, whether you do it with hands joined or by baring all. Though it’s the last resort for me, I might do it if I feel it would bring attention for the right cause.”
Godse, whose film Will you Marry Me? is set to release in June, also feels that beauty queens make good actors because of the common glamour quotient. “It doesn’t matter if you come from a village or you’ve won a beauty pageant; ultimately, it is the verdict of the Friday release that determines your career. But winning a pageant trains you in handling the attention and being confident,” she says.
