Paris Hilton has reunited with her ex-boyfriend Doug Reinhardt who is trying to impress her with his romantic ways. While most men turn to flowers or chocolates, Reinhardt made a much bigger gesture to win back the socialite's heart - he hired an island and took her for an exotic holiday.
The pair have just returned from a romantic trip to the "private and beautiful" Wadigi Island in Fiji, which he rented in an attempt to rekindle their relationship, reports thesun.co.uk. And judging by the gushy postings on their Twitter pages, it worked a treat.
"Fiji is truly one of the most amazing places in the world. Wadigi Island in Fiji is the perfect romantic getaway - so private and beautiful," Doug wrote on his Twitter page.
Hilton wrote: "Love Wadigi Island, had the most incredible stay. It is a true paradise, so beautiful and private. It's the perfect place to vacation."
The couple spent the break scuba diving, sky diving and enjoying various watersports.
But while holidaying on the idyllic island, Hilton kept the world updated on her blog: "What a fantastic day! Found so many beautiful shells on the beach and the ocean was so clear and warm! I am having the time of my life!"
According to a source close to Paris, "He has been so generous and sweet, and has really impressed her with his romantic ways. She loves being treated like a princess so she can feel how deeply in love he is with her, and she's having a blast."
