Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who recently turned 40, celebrated his birthday on a speedboat in the open sea off the coast of Mumbai with his sons — Hrehaan and Hridhaan.

But they weren’t the only ones who got to spend quality time with the actor on his special day.

On January 10 (his birthday), a group of about 10 to 12 boys and girls landed up at Hrithik’s building, Palazzio Apartments, in Juhu, and insisted on meeting him.

"Since the security is very tight at his building (especially after Hrithik filed a complaint against a stalker), the guards didn’t allow them to enter the premises," says a source.

However, the kids were persistent and refused to leave.

Eventually, after he saw them waiting for a while, the guard contacted one of Hrithik’s associates. "Finally, to their surprise, he came down to the lobby and met them all warmly," adds the insider.

"Hrithik spoke to them and spent a lot of time, posing for pictures individually and in groups. They had also got some presents for the actor," adds the source.
