Hrithik's Kites being readied for an English release too

After the Hindi version of much-awaited Hrithik Roshan starring Kites is ready for release, work on its English version has started. Directed by Anurag Basu, starring Mexican stunner Barbara Mori, the film is being produced by Reliance BIG Pictures and Rakesh Roshan.

After the Hindi version of much-awaited Hrithik Roshan starring Kites is ready for release, work on its English version has started.

Brett Ratner, best known for the Rush Hour series, Family Man starring Nicholas Cage and X-Men The Last Stand is currently at work on the English version of the movie by tailoring it to appeal it to an international audience.

In the international markets Kites will release with the English and Hindi version simultaneously where as in India, the film will release with the Hindi version.

Kites is expected to cut across national boundaries and sensibilities to achieve a universal appeal. The film will see the widest possible release, both at national and international level. The release dates will be announced soon.

Directed by Anurag Basu, starring Mexican stunner Barbara Mori, the film is being produced by Reliance BIG Pictures and Rakesh Roshan.

The Hindi version is complete and the producers are very happy with the outcome, a Reliance Big Pictures statement issued in Mumbai on Wednesday said.

Kites is a love story with precious moments and unexpected betrayal crossing barriers, boundaries and cultures.
