Hundreds hop onto city joy pride

Dadas, dadis, kids, dogs — that’s no park sight; they were all there at this year’s Delhi Queer Pride Parade, which painted the town in bright rainbow colours on Sunday.

Dadas, dadis, kids, dogs — that’s no park sight; they were all there at this year’s Delhi Queer Pride Parade, which painted the town in bright rainbow colours on Sunday. The march, which started at 4.30pm from Barakhamba road and ended at Jantar Mantar late evening, saw over 500 participants shouting slogans and waving flags in support of gay rights, beating the dhol, putting up performances and even sipping beer!
