Actor Kajol is blissfully enjoying her time off the camera. The 39-year old, who was last seen in filmmaker Karan Johar’s We Are Family in 2010 says, “I’m very happy and content with my life which revolves around my kids and family.”
Talking about parenting, the doting mother of two (daughter Nysa, 10 and son Yug, 3) says, “I feel that dealing with your kids can’t be planned and it depends on the situation. It is a skill that is acquired on the job.”
So, is she a strict mother?
"Yes…I am a very strict mother. Ajay (Devgn) is the one who pampers the kids more. I am the one who has the responsibility of making sure that my kids are disciplined because I’m more of an ‘at home’ parent,” says Kajol, who is the brand ambassador of Huggies.
She adds, “I feel that it is essential for the kids to know that there are boundaries which they can’t cross.” When asked if her daughter is interested in acting, she says, “She is too young for that. When I discuss about films, she is like, ‘Mamma… I don’t know what I want to be once I grow up’.”
The actor, who is reportedly making a comeback on the big screen with husband Ajay Devgn’s next production, reveals that she is okay with doing television provided she is fully satisfied with the offer made to her. “I’ll only take up an offer that is really good,” she says.
