Salt star Angelina Jolie wants to work less and be there for her kids more.
With spy flick Salt spicing up her career, Angelina Jolie is doing jolly good. But the mother of six — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne — wants to take it easy now, albeit without calling it quits.
When quizzed about reports that hint at her retirement, she clears, "No, just that, in years to come, I will probably do less and less work. I’d like to do fewer films for the next few years. Two movies a year, then maybe one, then one every three years and just eventually less."
And why that decision? “I just… I don’t love movies… I have other things I want to do in life. You know, and as my kids get older, I think it will be good to just work less. I’d like my kids to be compassionate and thoughtful people.”

{{/usCountry}}But, she hopes to start a ‘female spy franchise’ first. And then? “I’d like to live in Africa for six months. I’d like to live in Cambodia and spend time working on my projects there,” she says, in an interview to Anupama Chopra from NDTV 24x7.
When quizzed if India, too, was on her radar, Jolie answered in the affirmative. “Yes. I would just like to open things up. But nothing drastic… you know, things are blown out of proportion.
