Though actor Abhay Deol wouldn’t like to comment on his relationship status, he doesn’t shy away from speaking his mind on live-in relationships, something he firmly believes in. "I have been in a live-in, it works for me. It might not work for others… Nobody should act like moral police. If you aren’t causing any harm to anyone, why bother?" And what about marriage?

“I haven’t thought about it. I don’t even know if I’d get married,” says the actor and adds as an afterthought, “Time will tell. I haven’t planned anything.”

First encounter
The dishy Deol’s take on love at first sight is quite a revelation. “I don’t think there’s anything like love at first sight. What happens is actually lust at first sight,” he says. Has any guy ever made a pass at him? “Nothing major. Just mild ones here and there,” he says and recalls one such incident that left him in splits.

“I was at a party and there was this guy who said it on my face — the three words. I laughed over it.” The young lad has gone through his share of relationships, some good and some bad. Recalling his worst date, Abhay says,

The actor confesses that he has cheated on someone. “I have cheated. But I don’t regret it because we were not serious. I wouldn’t have ever done it if I were serious about the girl,” he says. Lastly, we ask him about his idea of the perfect date. “At a restaurant close to the beach, with nice music playing in the background,” he concludes.
