After several rounds of speculation and the couple refraining from making any comments, Lara Dutta has finally confirmed that she is pregnant and quite kicked about it. In an interview to Bollywood Hungama she said: "Yes, I'm pregnant and I am very excited."
On being asked about life post marriage, the actor said, "Life has not changed too much. We still have our respective careers, but the travel has increased since any time either of us is on a break, we fly to where the other is shooting or playing. We make sure our time is well spent."
“We are both extremely happy and blessed with this wonderful development in our lives, and we look forward to having a new addition to our family,” says daddy-to-be, tennis ace Mahesh, who also runs a movie production house Big Daddy Productions that produced Chalo Dilli (2010) in collaboration with Lara’s company Bheegi Basanti Productions.
When quizzed about work-life balance, this is what the leggy lass had to say: "It's not as complicated as people make it out to be. Our jobs might not be "normal" because of the extensive travel it requires of us. But we've both been doing this for many years so the get-up-and-go lifestyle is second nature to us."
